75 years of Married life completed

My father and my mother got married on the 31st of December 1950. They have completed 75 years of wedded life. My father is 93 years old, and my mother is 88 years old.

They have seen ups and downs in their lives. They faced many hurdles and financial problems. Yet, they faced them together and were successful in their lives. They strived to bring up their children. Today, their 4 daughters and 5 sons are well settled in their lives.

They are complementary to each other. Now, both of them are staying with me and no issues regarding health. I wish them many more years together.

Thank You Vandana, for your respectful greetings to the elders. That speaks about your manners and politeness. Definitely, I will convey your greetings to my parents. I hope and wish they will continue their healthy innings together for many more years happily.

It is really wonderful! I think this is some sort of record, even if it's not a world record, it may be an Indian record. You may check it.

My regards and best wishes to the respected couple. After scoring 75, they will definitely go for a grand century!

Thank you, Partha Sir and Ramachandran Sir. I will check as advised and see what needs to be done. I request that Partha Sir advise me in searching for this record. I wish they were together at least for the next 25 years.

Just now found that the record for longest marriage in India belongs to Gian Chand & Shanti Devi Gupta, celebrating 80+ years together. If I get further details, I will post them here.
