Hygienic ways already given as advise by our elders through practice

We, Indians have our own civilized culture. We ourselves skipped our own but following western culture in the name of modern.

Hygienic ways already given as advise by our elders through practice

Our elders paved some ways and methods with some purpose. Medieval people blindly accepted , followed and thereby lived a peaceful life without diabetic/Angio/by-pass, high BP. Later when we question them we started to fell in the well of sickness. As advised by elders we should wash our legs once reach home from outside, after eating etc. Some category of people entrusted with some rituals but they too gave up the rituals on the fear of comments/mocking of others.
In those days many followed taking bath after attending death houses/returning from grave yards/visiting hospitals/ after having haircut etc. These are all only based on hygienic only but not insulting/degrading anybody. Similar steps have been taken against the ladies of menstruation period to avoid infection to both the parties. Now when the alert come from foreign countries on hygienic matter subsequent to corona, many feared.

Some items they left for certain days with some reason behind it.

They have given ideas to follow fasting etc., during particular days in order to keep our body healthy only. We, present people, set aside them by considering them only for certain category of people.

True. I agree 100% with the author. All the practices that were followed by our forefathers were really good for health and hygiene. Washing feet after coming back home from outside is a very good habit which prevents unwanted waste from entering the house. Many people stopped practising these advices, thinking them as useless. Very unfortunate.
There are reasons for every practice suggested by our elders, and we should follow them without questioning, I feel.
