My father passed away on 12th of this month.

I regret to inform all the members that my father passed away on the 12th of this month. He completed his 92nd year and was running his 93rd year.
On the 10th of this month, he slipped in the house, and there was a fracture in his hip. I took him to an orthopaedic surgeon, and he advised an operation. But as he was physically not fit, immediate treatment for improving his condition was started. On Saturday, there was an improvement, and the doctor suggested to get blood test done on Monday so that they can plan for the operation.
On Sunday evening at about 8 PM, we gave him his supper, and he was sitting on the cot, and all his grandsons were around him. Within minutes, there was a change in his condition, and the doctor came and examined him. Around 9.20 PM, he was declared dead. All this happened in Hyderabad, and after his death, we brought his body to our native place in Andhra Pradesh and performed all the rituals to the best of our abilities.
That is why I am not coming online for the last 15 days and we will be going back to Hyderabad on Wednesday (29/4/26).

Sorry to hear the news. Whatever may be the age, father is father, mother is mother. Our loss is irreparable.
My Maternal uncle left us on 26th January 2026 at his age of 97, he was alright and was watching cricket in the television and when a player got out in his 97th run, he was telling his son that he is 97 but out I am 97 not out. But after a gap of 10 minutes he lost his breath.

Sorry to hear that your father has passed away. May his soul rest in peace. We will feel immense courage when our parents are around us whatever may be their age. At this juncture, I hope God provides enough courage to you and your family to sail through this difficult situation.

Thank you all for your kind words. All these days, I used to think that there was somebody above me and he would share my responsibility. Loss of a father is a real heavy loss.

While conveying my formal condolences on your bereavement,
I also wish to state that you were all blessed to have your father for this long as a patron for you all. That is a rare blessing, which you all had privilege to be bestowed upon. The second is that your father had a peaceful death, with or after having met most of his children and other close ones just before his death. That way we can be sure that he had a satisfied last days.
It is a fact that however old and long living our parents are, their loss is definitely an incurable personal loss. The only Maaya is that time plays, gradually wiping out the wounded memories and making us to live for future and future generations donning the role of their parents and grandparents.

I pray for his Aatma's Satgati and ultimate Moksha.

Thank you all for your kind words. As mentioned by Venkiteswaran, my father passed away peacefullyy with utmost satisfaction, having many of his family members around him during his last few minutes. That way we are all lucky. As days go we will become normal but it is becoming very difficult to console my mother.
