Regardless of what others say it is the Government of India's stated position that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. India and China fought a brief but bloody border war, partly over Arunachal Pradesh, in 1962, and while trade between the two has since flourished, the border disputes have never been resolved. Mistrust remains close below the surface and appears to have resurfaced in recent months.

Indian government conducted elections many times and the people of Arunachal Pradesh participated in it voluntarily without any force. China is playing a diplomatic game with India to make India invest more money in its defence by purchasing arms from foriegn dealers. Imagine which country get benefit out of these defence deals. Also not to forget our own politicians who receive their share.
