    The title does have an interesting thing.

    //The title of the book does have an interesting story behind it,// this line of Partha in his post on reading a book in one of the replies coincide one of a post in different media that someone shared on similar lines that this movie have an interesting thing (rivers name) and hence I thought of sharing it.

    the movie name is Mahanathi(a great river) and all the main characters are rivers names and hence the title justified with Mahanathi.

    A good post from the author. The name of the movie is the name of a river and many characters in the movies are also having the names of other rivers. When many rivers mix together it will become a big river (Mahanadi). Similarly, all these actors with their performance make the movie like a big river.
    I remember that this movie was dubbed in Telugu also and released in Telugu states also. It is not a recent film I feel. The movies did well in Telugu also.

    It is interesting the author has made a comment on a Tamil Movie released in 1994.
    If we can refer to the Wikipedia notes on the film we can find that the title 'Mahaanadhi' was conceived consciously by the team to have a relevance and link to the name of characters also are names of some major rivers in our country.

    It is noted there that the original title was "Meenda Swargam' but later on Mahaanadhi was found relevant ,modern and appealing.

    When the movie 'Mahaanati"(Great Actress) was released, a few years ago, I remembers about this film.

    It is true that suitable unique titles attract attention and appeal to intelligence and aesthetic sense. But that cannot be said about the online contents where it works on pre-decided algorithms.

    Title of a book and names of the characters in it are sometimes chosen in a particular way
    so that the names inside the book are related to the title of the book in a very apt manner. That is the thing that had been considered by the publishers and writers in earlier times also. In fact title of the book and its link to the characters inside is something which has a business aspect also. These things generate curiosity in the book readers or movie watchers and goes in favour of the book or movie.
    Knowledge is power.

    Though it is old movie this photograph is shared very recently as every production units are coming with write ups or videos or reviews either normally or on the memory of completing years after release. Thank you members for your replies.
