
The Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur, also known as the Big Temple, is the largest Temple in India. It is a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple was constructed under the reign of Raja Raja Chola, of the Chola Dynasty. The magnificent temple is famed for its size and architecture.
