About Haridwar
Haridwar is the popular sacred city in the state Uttarakhand. The popular river Ganga flows in this city about 253 Kilometers from its source. The city covers the area around 12.3 Km. It is popularly known as the one of the holiest place to Hindus and thousands of devotees, pilgrims and tourists visit to Haridwar every year. This city is also well known for the industrial estate such as SIDCUL, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. It is the largest city in Uttarakhand which has both religious importance and fast industrialization. Mostly pilgrims go to this place for Moksha by wash away their sin on the bank of river Ganges. Brahma Kund is the most sacred ghat of Haridwar where Amrit fell.

Road – One can reach to this city through National Highway 58 between Delhi and Mana Pass. The city also connects with National Highway 74.
Rail - The Haridwar Railway Station is the main station under the control of Northern Railway.
Air – Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the main nearest airport which is 35 Km away from Haridwar city .
