Gyanodaya educational institution was founded by Gyanodaya Shikshan Pracharak Samiti in the year 1987 with an aim of providing education to economically and socially backward class poor students in the vicinity of the Thane City in Maharashtra.
The institution consists of a primary school, a secondary section and a college section. In senior secondary classes Science and Commerce streams are available. In the college section B.Sc.(IT), B.Ed. and D.T.Ed. courses are offered. There are a total of about 8500 students in the Gyanodaya educational institution.
