The above is an 'Earn and Learn' apprenticeship scheme and is operated under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme of Govt of India.
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) of India is a year-long program for graduates in any discipline to be conducted by any authorised institution in a workplace generally in an industrial or technical organisation/company. The apprentices undergoing such apprenticeship must be paid a monthly amount of Rs 9000 by the organisation/ company.
Reimbursement like subsidy amounting to Rs 4500 per month will be paid by the Govt for 12 months based on the attendance of the students.
