Loyola Industrial Training Institute located at Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore is one of the popular and prestigious industrial training institute in the city. The institute is duly approved and recognised by Directorate General of Employment and Training and also recognised by the Government of Karnataka.
This 1992 established industrial institute in Bangalore is run by Jesuit Educational Society which is a part of Karnataka Jesuit Educational Society responsible for establishing several educational institutions across the city of Bangalore.
From infrastructure point of view the institute offers well maintained, furnished and spacious classrooms. CCTVs are installed at various places for safety point of view, laboratories for all disciplines, including a state of the art computer lab and classrooms are equipped with audio-visual facility.
The speciality of Loyola Industrial Training Institute is that it has a driving school facility with several live workshops. Few notable vehicles are Maruti, Ambassador, TVS champ, Hero Honda etc. These are used in workshops for automobile discipline. The college also has hostel facilities.
The admissions process at this college begins in the month of June and ends by July. Candidates who have passed their SSLC examination are eligible to apply. Certain programs are for those who failed in the SSLC examinations.
Admissions are on first come first served basis. However, those qualifying the admission test are given preference. The admission process, selection of candidates and programs are decided by Directorate General of Employment and Training, Government of Karnataka.
