Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA), Thiruvananthapuram wishes to appoint qualified candidates for the below-mentioned posts.
List of vacancies & Eligibility criteria
1. Environment Planner: Masters in Environment planning and min. 4 years' experience.2. Meteorologist: M.Sc Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology or its equivalent and min. 4 years' experience.
3. Safety Engineer: B.Tech/B.E in Safety and Fire/Industrial/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and min. two years' experience.
4. Communication Engineer: B.Tech/B.E Electronics and Communication and min. two years' experience.
5. Social Capacity Building Specialist: MSW and min. 4 years' experience.
6. Hazard Analyst (Civil): B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering and min. one year experience.
7. Hazard Analyst (Environmental Science and/or Disaster Management): M.Sc Environmental Science and/or Disaster Management with 70% aggregate score in the qualifying exams and min. one year experience.
8. Hazard Analyst (Oceanography): M.Sc Oceanography/Ocean
Sciencesand min. one year experience.
9. Hazard Analyst (Economics/Econometrics): MA/ M.Sc. Economics/Econometrics/Applied Economics and min. one year experience.
10. Field Assistants -
(i) Passed SSLC or equivalent exam and have an approved Diploma or ITC or ITI (Electronics or Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance) course pass certificate with at least 1st class + Valid Two wheeler driving License + min. two years' experience.
(ii) Passed SSLC or equivalent exam and have an approved Diploma or ITC or ITI (Electrical) course pass certificate with at least 1st class + Valid Two wheeler driving License + min. two years' experience.
11. Multi-Tasking Officer: Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent + Diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent and computerized word processing skills in Malayalam and English and min. one year of Secretarial/Clerical experience in any
organization.
12. Accountant: B.Com and M.Com + MS Office or equivalent and Tally + Computerized finance management and min. three years' experience in the Govt. or public sector.
13. Hydrologist (renotified post): Post graduation in Water Resource Management or equivalent and min. one year experience.
14. Agriculture Specialist (renotified post): Post graduation in Agriculture and min. one year experience.
