HRD Ministry recruitment of Director at NIT Calicut and NIT Delhi
Dept. of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India invites applications for upcoming vacancies to the position of Director, one at the National Institute of Technology in Calicut, Kerala and the other at the National Institute of Technology in Delhi. Candidates should have teaching and research credentials. The service conditions will be as per the Insititute's norms.
Pay: Rs.2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with a special allowance of Rs.11,250/- and other usual allowances.
Eligibility requirements
1. Academic Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree with a first-class at the Bachelor's and Master's level in Engineering/Technology. Those who have obtained Ph.D. directly after B.E./B.Tech. should have obtained first class at the Bachelor's level in Engineering/Technology.2. Experience: At least five years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 10 years must be at the level of Professor or above in a reputed educational Institute, Industry, Research Organisations.
3. Age: It is preferred that the candidate should not be more than 65 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application.
4. General skills: Leadership skills with administrative capabilities.
