Directors, Faculty required for University of Mumbai affiliated colleges
The Registrar, University of Mumbai invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the below-mentioned administrative and faculty posts. All are unaided posts.
Director posts
1. At Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute of Financial and Management Studies for a tenure of five years.Age: Minimum age shall not be less than 45years (retirement age is 60 years).
Qualification and Experience: PhD. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor?s or Master?s level in the relevant branch of Commerce & Management, with at least 15 years of experience in teaching/research/ Industry, out of which at least three years should be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.
Skills: Flair for management and leadership.
2. At Garware Institute of Career Education & Development (GICED) for a tenure of five years.
Age: Minimum age shall not be less than 45years (retirement age is 60 years).
Qualification and Experience: PhD and First Class at either Bachelor?s or Masters level in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 16 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be post-PhD experience and 5 years of experience not below the level of HoD.
3. At University of Mumbai Law Academy (UMLA) for a tenure of five years.
Age: Minimum age shall not be less than 45years (retirement age is 60 years).
Qualification and Experience: PhD and consistently good academic record Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of at least fifteen of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other institution of higher education; and a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journal.
4. At Department of Information and Communication Technology for a tenure of five years.
Age: Retirement age is 60 years.
Qualification and Experience: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics/Computer/I.T. with a minimum of 15 years experience in enterprise.
Faculty vacancies
1. Assistant Professor at UGC-Human Resource Development Centre: This is a non-vocational academic post.Qualification: A Master's degree with 55% marks and cleared NET or a similar Test.
Experience: It is desirable to have some previous work experience in a similar training institute.
Skills: Knowledge of educational technology and good interpersonal skills.
2. Professor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Chair in Political Economy (RBI Chair) Mumbai School of Economics & Public Policy: The post is on tenure basis of five years or up to attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
Qualification: PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality.
Experience: A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a University/College as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions
