Central University of Andhra Pradesh recruitment of Assistant Professors
The Central University of Andhra Pradesh invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors for undergraduate/postgraduate programs on an Adhoc basis. Retired teachers/ faculty shall also be considered for appointment as Adhoc Faculty. The appointments will be for one semester and may be extended to another semester, subject to satisfactory performance.
Remuneration: A monthly consolidated salary of Rs.60,000/-.
General Qualification for all the faculty posts: A Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks from a recognized University, and NET/SET/SLET. It is desirable to have teaching experience at the undergraduate or the postgraduate level, and publications in UGC-approved journals.
Subjectwise vacancies and Eligibility criteria
1. Economics: Masters in Econometrics, with specialization in - Micro Economics, Mathematical Economics, Economics, Statistics & Econometrics, Indian Economics and Policy, Development Economics, Macro Economics.2. Political Science: Master's Degree with specialization in - International Relations, Indian Polity. India's Political Thought/Political Theory, Comparative Politics, Public Administration.
3. Retail Management and Information Technology, and Travel and Tourism Management: (i) MBA (Tourism & Travel Management), (ii) MBA (Marketing & Sales), (iii) MBA (Systems) or M.Tech (CSE) or MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science), (iv) MBA (Finance or HR or Operations).
4. M.A.(Telugu): Masters in the following specialization- (i) Classical Telugu Grammar/Classical Telugu Poetry, (ii) General Linguistics.
5. M.A. (English): Masters in the following specialization - (i) English Literature Teaching, (ii) English Language Teaching.
