National Centre for Cell Science, Pune, Maharashtra is going to recruit Director, NCCS on Deputation basis (including short term contract/absorption basis) and invite applications from eligible candidates for the following post.

Name of Post: Director, NCCSNature of Post: On Deputation basis (including short term contract/absorption basis).
Pay Scale: Level-15 (As per 7th CPC).
Other Benefits: As per rules.
Tenure of Appointment: 05 years
Eligibility Requirements
Age limit: The age limit should not exceed 58 years on the closing date of application submission.Essential Qualification:
- Ph.D. Life Science/ /M.D./ M. Tech /M.V.Sc. or equivalent.
- Excellent track record, excellent scientific publications, patents and awards.
- He/she must be working on the post of Scientists at Central / State Governments, Research Institutes, Autonomous Bodies, Government-funded Research Organizations/ Institutes, etc. He/she must be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent Department.

With 5 years service in post with Pay Level-14 (As per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department.
Experience: Minimum 15 years work experience in the field of Cell Biology and Animal Tissue Culture.
Desirable:
- Experience in successfully running large programmes, centres and institutions.
- Experience in guiding research activities in the area of specialization.
