Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports recruitment of Vice-Chancellor National Sports University
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Sports has released a recruitment notification for the appointment of Vice-Chancellor of National Sports University, Imphal, Manipur. The candidate should be a visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials.
Remuneration: Rs. 2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with a special allowance of Rs. 5000/- and other usual allowances.
Eligibility requirements
1. Age: Not more than 65 years of age as of the closing date of receipt of applications of the recruitment notification.2. Academic credentials: Must have an outstanding academic record throughout with relevant educational qualifications as per University norms.
3. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Professor in a University system or in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization.
