NICMAR University Hyderabad recruiment of Vice-Chancellor 2022
NICMAR University, Hyderabad has appointed a Search Committee which invites applications from eminent academicians from an
Engineering/Architectural/Management background having the required qualifications and experience for the post of Vice-Chancellor. The appointment will be on a Deputation/Contract basis for three years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier
Pay Scale: A fixed basic pay of Rs.2,10,000/- + a special allowance of Rs.5000/- per month, and other facilities as per the university's norms.
Eligibility requirements
1. Academic Qualifications: Doctorate in any discipline with a good academic record.2. Experience: Experience in the field of Higher Education of a least 15 years in teaching and research in a university/well-established institution of repute and/or at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Also, a min. of 5 years of administrative experience in the field of Higher Education not below the rank of Professor and Head of the Department in a university/Principal (in a Professor's Grade) of a Senior College/Head of a national /International institution of Advanced Learning.
3. Research credentials: Minimum of 5 research publications in peer-reviewed/referred international research journals after Ph-D and/or published quality books in a recognized discipline, referenced for study in higher education at the National/International level.

Interested candidates should submit a detailed resume in the given format on the Universitywebsite along with a two-page justification for his/her candidature, a two-page vision statement for the University, and names and contact details of 3 distinguished persons who are well acquainted with his/her work. The duly filled-in application along with the required attachment should be sent by email only to the Search Committee at searchcommittee@nicmar.ac.in on or before 9th November 2022.
