Indian Navy is recruiting candidates for Short Service Commission 2023
The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried eligible men and unmarried women candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for the training course starting in June 2023 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.
Tenure: The selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years, which may be extendable by a maximum of 4 years in two terms, subject to service requirements, performance, medical eligibility, and the willingness of candidates.
There are two training courses-
1. Extended Naval Orientation Course: General Service (Executive) GS(X)/Hydrography
2. Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Regular – Pilot/Naval Air Operations Officers/Air Traffic Controller/Logistics/Education/Technical (Engineering & Electrical)/Naval Constructor
Eligibility requirements
Candidates who have graduated or have a Postgraduate qualification or are in the final year with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA can apply. The qualifications should be from a recognized university.1. For the Executive Branch: BE/B.Tech in any discipline. In the case of Logistics, other eligible qualifications are- MBA with First Class or B.Sc./B.Com./B.Sc. (IT) with a First class along with a PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management, or MCA / M.Sc (IT) with a First Class.
2. For the Education Branch: BE/B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech. as applicable.
3. For the Technical Branch: BE/B.Tech.
