Indian Navy is hiring 275 ITI Trade Apprentices at Vizag Dockyard
The Ministry of Defence (Navy) invites applications from ITI-qualified candidates for Apprenticeship Training in various designated trades at the Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam for the training batch 2023-2024. Only Indian nationals can apply. The training is for the duration of one year. The selection process includes a written exam, an interview, and a medical exam. Selected candidates will begin the training in May 2023.

Eligibility requirements
The candidate should have completed the relevant certificate course of the ITI Trade (refer to the official notification to know which Trade it is that matches the above Apprenticeship Designated Trade) and should not have already completed or currently be undergoing apprenticeship training in the same or other industry/establishment as per the norms of the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Specific eligibility criteria are-Age: The candidate should be born on or before 2nd May 2009 to be eligible for applying for the apprenticeship training batch of 2023-2024.
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC/Matric/Std X with 50 (aggregate).
ITI Qualification: ITI (NCVT/SCVT) with 65% (aggregate)
How to apply
Interested candidates must apply online at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).The Apprentice Profile, two original hall tickets, and all the relevant documents along with the check-off list as mentioned in the Annexure of the official notification indicating the status of enclosed documents, should be forwarded to "The Officer-in-Charge (for Apprenticeship), Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, VM Naval Base S.O., P.O., Visakhapatnam - 530 014, Andhra Pradesh" by Post.
The closing date for submitting online applications is 2nd January 2023. The closing date of the receipt of the offline application with relevant documents by Post is 9th January 2023.
