Army Public School Jammu Cantt. Satwari is hiring Teachers, Staff 2023
Army Public School Jammu Cantt, Satwari is once again conducting a recruitment drive for teaching and non-teaching staff, this time for the academic session 2023-24 on a term/contractual and Ad-hoc basis. For term-based teaching appointments, CSB and CTET/TET are mandatory. English proficiency is essential, and computer knowledge is desirable.
Age criteria: Below 40 years as of 1st April 2023 for fresh candidates, and below 57 years for experienced candidates (including ESM).
Teaching vacancies
1. PGT for Chemistry, and Maths: Postgraduate in the subject + B.Ed. with min. 50% in both.2. TGT for Maths: Bachelor's degree in Maths with minimum 50% marks with any two of the following subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science, and Statistics, and B. Ed.
3. TGT for English, Sanskrit, and Hindi: Graduate in the subject + B.Ed. with min. 50% in both.
4. TGT (Science)-Physics/Chem./Biology: Graduate in the subject and B.Ed.
5. Computer Science: BCA or Graduation in Computer Science (see the print advt. for other acceptable qualifications) + B.Ed.
6. TGT Physical Education: Graduate in Physical Education or B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed.
7. PRTs for all subjects: Graduate with 2-year D.El.Ed./B.Ed. with min. 50% in both, and qualified in Part A of the CSB exam.
8. PRT (PET): Graduate in Physical Education or B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed.
9. PRT (Computer Science): B.Tech./B.Sc. in Computer Science (see the print advt. for other acceptable qualifications).
10. PRT (Dance): Master's Degree in Dance or its equivalent.
11. PRT Instrumental Music: Graduate in/with Music.
Othher vacancies
1. Admin. Supervisor: Should be Retd. JCO/Hony Commissioned Rank, less than 55 years at the time of joining, and have basic knowledge of handling documents, stores, maintenance of equipment, etc. Preference will be given to those who are security course qualified. Computer knowledge is essential and should be SHAPE-1 or SHAPE-II (less S Factor).2. UDC: B. Com or 15 years of service as a clerk (for Ex-Servicemen). Should be computer literate (MSOffice, Tally, etc.) with knowledge of relevant software applications used by schools. Experience- 5 years of experience as a clerk or an accounts clerk in a reputed organization, preferably a school.
3. LDC: Graduate or 10 years of service as a clerk (for Ex-Servicemen). Should be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and basic knowledge of accounting.
Application procedure
Eligible candidates should download the application form from the official website http://apsjammucantt.com/The completed application form, along with relevant self-attested copies of testimonials/certificates and a Bank Draft of Rs.100/- in the name of the Principal Army Public School Jammu Cantt from a nationalized Bank should be submitted at the school office latest by 18th Feb. 2023, 11 a.m. No email applications will be accepted. For non-CSB candidates, a screening test, and computer proficiency and language proficiency test will be tentatively scheduled for 6th-7th March Feb. 2023 at 10 a.m. The interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 10th-11th March 2023.
