Bank of India recruitment of Probationary Officers in India:

Total No of Posts: 500

Reservation: GEN 198, SC 76, ST 40, OBC 138, EWS 48

1. Credit Officer in General Banking stream - GBO - JMGS-I - 350 Posts
2. IT Officer in Specialist stream - SPL - JMGS-I - 150 Posts

Pay Scale: INR 36000 - 1490/7 - 46430 - 1740/2 - 49910 - 1990/7 - 63840

Stipend: During the first three trimesters, a stipend of INR 2500 per month, and during the last trimester, a stipend of INR 15000 per month will be paid.

Age Limit: 20 - 29 years as of 01.02.2023 and relaxation as per rules

Required Job Profile:

For Credit Officer - Candidate must possess a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
For IT Officer - Must possess four-year Engineering or Technology Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation. OR a Graduation in any discipline and having passed DOEACC B level.

Selection Process: Online Examination, Interview, Group Discussion, Final Selection. After the final selection candidates were found fit medically to the satisfaction of the bank.

After final selection, it is mandatory to pass the Diploma course PGDBM before getting inducted/absorbed into the Bank.

Course Fee: INR 350000 + GST to be paid by candidates as per the schedule; 120000/- + GST on or before the commencement of the training program for respective Batch, INR 120000 + GST on or before the commencement of 2nd trimester for a particular batch of the training program, and INR 110000 + GST on or before the commencement of 3rd trimester for a particular batch of the training program.

This course fee includes all the in-person classroom and computer lab facilities, advanced library facilities, residential accommodation on sharing basis, all boarding facilities (breakfast, lunch, dinner), transportation, etc.

The selected candidates can pay the course fees from their own sources or by availing Education Loan from a Bank subject to eligibility.

Application Fee: INR 850 for GEN/EWS/OBC and INR 175 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
