CSB recruitment for Teachers at Army Public School Shillong
Army Public School, Shillong invites applications from eligible candidates for teaching vacancies. Applicants should have a valid scorecard of OST conducted by AWES for regular appointments.
Remuneration-
PGT - Rs. 44750/- approx pm
TGT - Rs, 44100/- approx pm
PRT - Rs. 42840/-
approx pm.
Age Criteria-
(a) For a fresh candidate, that is, with no experience: below 40 yrs.
(b) For an experienced candidate: below 57 yrs (with a minimum of 5 years experience in the appropriate category in the last 10 years).
List of vacancies
1. PGT (English): Two years Integrated Postgraduate in MA/M.Sc of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in English with at least 50% aggregate marks, or a Postgraduation in English with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed, or a Master's Degree in English from a recognized University with at least 50% marks inaggregate. B.Ed. is mandatory.
2. PGT (Psychology): Two years Integrated Postgraduate in MA/M.Sc of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in Psychology with at least 50% aggregate marks, or a Postgraduation in Psychology with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed., or a Master's Degree in Psychology from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. B.Ed. is mandatory.
3. TGT (Hindi): Four years Integrated Postgraduate in MA/M.Sc of the Regional College of Education of NCERT in Hindi, or a Postgraduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed. A B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university is also required and passed in CTET/TET.
4. PRT: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks with B.El.Ed/2-year D.El.Ed (mandatory), and passed in CTET/TET. A candidate with a B.Ed or Integrated B.Ed can also apply for PRT with the fulfillment of the condition of a 6-month PDPET/Bridge course from any NCTE-recognized institute.

Eligible candidates should submit the duly filled-in prescribed application form which can be obtained from the school office or downloaded from the school website https://apsshillong.in/The completed form along with the attested copies of testimonials and a DD of Rs 100 in favour of APS Shillong should be submitted by 15th January 2024. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
