Indian Institute of Teacher Education Gandhinagar recruitment of Vice-Chancellor
The Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gandhinagar invites applications/nominations from persons of eminence for appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor. The appointment will be for 5 years from the date of taking up office or till attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier, with no re-appointment.
Eligibility requirements
The candidate should be a distinguished academician, with the highest levels of integrity, competency, morals, and institutional commitment.Experience: A minimum of 10 years as a Professor in a university system or 10 years of experience in a reputed research and/or academic admin. organization with proof of academic leadership.
Application procedure
The application/nomination should be submitted in the prescribed format (available on the official website) in hard copy by speed post/courier/registered AD in a sealed envelope marked "Application/Nomination for Vice-Chancellor position" addressed to The Chairman, Search Committee for appointment of Vice-Chancellor, C/o The Registrar, The Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Ramkrushna Paramhans Vidya Sankul, near KH-5, KH Road, Sector - 15, Gandhinagar - 382016 (Gujarat). The same should also be sent by email to searchcommittee@iite.ac.inClosing date of receipt of applications: 26th March 2024.
