2024 CBSE Recruitment Drive for Asst. Secretary, Officers, Engineers, Accountant Posts
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invites online applications for direct recruitment on an all-India competitive exam basis for the below-mentioned posts. Only citizens of India who have attained the minimum age of 18 years as of the closing date of the application should apply. Candidates should refer to the official notification to know the age criterion for each post and the relaxation of the upper age limit for reserved category candidates.
Job locations: If you are selected, you will be posted in any of the offices of the board i.e. Regional Offices, Centre of Excellence, namely, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guwahati, Noida, Patna, Panchkula, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, and Raebareli.
Assistant Secretary vacancies
1. Assistant Secretary (Administration): Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/Institution.2. Assistant Secretary (Academics): Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subjects/areas from a recognized University/Institute and a B. Ed. degree from a recognized university/institute with NET/SLET or equivalent or a Doctorate Degree.
3. Assistant Secretary (Skill Education): Postgraduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
4. Assistant Secretary (Training): Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subjects/areas from a recognized University/Institute and a B. Ed. degree from a recognized university/institute with NET/SLET or an equivalent or a Doctorate Degree.
Accounts vacancies
1. Accounts Officer: Bachelor's degree from a recognised University/Institution with Economics/Commerce/Accounts/Finance/Business Studies/Cost Accounting as one of the subjects.2. Accountant: Bachelor's degree from a recognised University/Institution with Economics/Commerce/Accounts/Finance/Business Studies/Cost Accounting as one of the subjects. Essential- a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
3. Junior Accountant: 12th Class from a recognized Board/University/Institution with Accountancy/Business Studies/Economics/ Commerce/ Entrepreneurship/Finance/Business Administration/Taxation/Cost Accounting as one of the subjects. Essential- a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
Other vacancies
1. Junior Engineer: B. E. /B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering from a university/institution which is AICTE-recognized,2. Junior Translation Officer: Master's Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of exam at the Bachelor's Degree level. It is also essential to have a recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 3 years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Govt. Office, including Govt. of India undertaking.
Important notes-
(1) You must have the required educational qualifications at the time of submitting the online application. Do not apply if you are appearing in the final year or are waiting for the result of the final exam.
(2) Refer to the official notification to know of desirable qualifications, skills, and experience requirements.
Application procedure
You have to submit your application in online mode only at https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html and pay the prescribed fee online as well (refer to the official notification to know the application fee). The Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website later and must be brought to the exam centre. Online registration of applications can be done from 12th March 2024 up to 11th April 2024.
