Navy Children School Karanja recruitment of Teachers, Special Educator
Navy Children School, Karanja invites eligible candidates with relevant qualifications to attend walk-in interviews for the below-mentioned teaching positions.
Age criterion: Age should be between 21 to 50 years as of 1st July 2024. The upper age limit will be relaxed for ex-NCS teachers by the number of years of carried-forward teaching experience in earlier NCS, but the age should not exceed 55 years.
PRT Vacancies
Primary Teachers for General: The applicant should have a BSc/BCom/BTech/BBA Degree in the relevant subject completed through a regular course with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university or institution and a B.Ed. in the relevant subject completed through a regular course with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution.Experience: Applicants with experience in reputed primary/secondary public schools and CTET-qualified and CWT-qualified will be given preference.
Essential: The applicant must have a good personality with excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate in Hindi, with computer knowledge and proficiency in using MS Office software.
TGT Vacancies
Trained Graduate Teachers are required for Mathematics, and Hindi [note that in the print advt. in the Hindustan Times, Mumbai, 6th July 2024, the subjects are mentioned as Maths, and Hindi, while on the official website, the subjects are given as English and Hindi. Hence, candidates should contact the school before applying]Educational Qualification: B.A./B.Sc. Degree in the relevant subject completed through a regular course with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution and a B.Ed. in the relevant subject completed through a regular course with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution.
Additional notes: The applicant should also have studied the subject at the senior secondary level. Candidates with a Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution and/or teaching experience in a recognized school(s) with CTET and CWT qualifications will be preferred.

Special Educator vacancy
The applicant should be a Graduate with a B.Ed. (Special Education). Other acceptable qualifications are mentioned in the official notification.The appointed candidate will be required to work with children with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, developmental disabilities such as autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and special learning disabilities.
Dance Teacher vacancy
The applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree in Dance or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute. Preference will be given to candidates with a regular Master's Degree in Dance from a recognized university and/or experience in teaching dance in recognized schools.Application procedure
