2024 Apprentice Opportunities with Stipend for 1500 Graduates at Indian Bank
Indian Bank invites applications from 1500 eligible candidates for the engagement of apprentices for 12 months of under the Apprentices Act, of 1961. The vacancies are across India, and you can check the official notification to know the State-wise breakup. At the time of registration, you can choose any three preferred districts of the applied state, but the final location of work will depend on the availability of vacancies and requirements by the Bank. You are not entitled to claim employment in Indian Bank after completing the apprenticeship.
Note- You can apply for only one state and should not submit more than one application. Citizens of India, subjects of Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and those who are persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries (refer to the official notification for details) can apply. If you have undergone apprenticeship in any other organization earlier or are currently pursuing the Apprenticeship training, then you are not eligible to apply (refer to the official notification to know other ineligibility criteria).
Stipend: Rs.15,000/- p.m. for those selected in a metro/urban branch of the Bank, and Rs.12,000/- p.m. for those selected in rural/semi-urban branches of the Bank.
Eligibility requirements
1. Age criterion as of 1st July 2024: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as of the cut-off date (that is, the first date of the month of the advertisement for the engagement) with relaxation given in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per Govt. norms.2. Educational Qualification: You must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government. You should have completed the graduate course and have a passing certificate for the graduation after 31st March 2020.
3. Language skills: If you are applying for training in a particular state, then you should be able to read, write, speak, and understand any one of the specified local languages of that State.
Application process
You have to first register on the apprenticeship portal https://nats.education.gov.in/ before applying for apprenticeship in Indian Bank. Only after you have completed your profile in every respect on the apprenticeship portal then you are eligible to apply to Indian Bank for Apprenticeship.Closing date of submission of applications and online payment of the application fee: 31st July 2024.
Selection process: Eligible candidates will be selected based on an online written test to be conducted at various centres in India, and selected candidates will be required to submit a medical fitness certificate.
