Vivekananda College University of Delhi recruitment of Principal 2024
Vivekananda College, University of Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates with the relevant qualifications and experience as per UGC norms for appointment to the post of Principal. This is a direct recruitment based on merit and selection will be done by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
Tenure: The appointed candidate will be in the post for five years, which may be extended for another term of five years based on a performance assessment by a committee appointed by the University.
Eligibility requirements
1. Academic Qualifications: The applicant should have a Ph.D. Degree.2. Experience: The applicant should be in the post of Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of at least 15 years of teaching/research in universities, colleges and other institutions of higher education.
3. Research Credentials: The applicant should have a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a minimum of 110 Research Score
Application process
Interested candidates should fill up the application form only in online mode. The form is available here- http://rec3.uod.ac.inOffline applications will not be accepted.
Applicants have to pay the application fee of Rs. 2000/- online, through Net Banking or with a Credit card or a Debit card.
Selection process: If you are a shortlisted candidate, you will be called for an interview, and you should report on the scheduled date along with all the relevant testimonials/certificates in original along, and a photo ID. A set of photocopies of the testimonials/certificates duly certified by you should also be submitted at the time of the interview.
Note- A 'No Objection Certificate' should be submitted by candidates who are serving in Government/PSUs (including Boards/Autonomous Bodies).
The last date of receipt of applications is 12th August 2024 or two weeks from the date of publication of the advt. in the Employment News, whichever is later.
