JIS University West Bengal recruitment of Vice-Chancellor 2024
The Chancellor of JIS University, Agarpara, Kolkata, West Bengal has set up a Search Committee for selecting a suitable candidate for appointment to the position of Vice-Chancellor as per the University norms. Nominations of highly qualified, experienced and competent candidates should be sent. Present and former Vice-Chancellors of the State Universities and Central Universities, Heads of academic and research institutions, and eminent scholars can send nominations of eligible individuals by email. Candidates are not permitted to send self-nominations.
Brief Overview of the University: JIS University, Agarpara, Kolkata is a unit of the JIS Group Educational Initiatives which has set up over 30 educational institutions in diverse fields, such as medicine, engineering, management, pharmacy, etc.
Eligibility Requirements
The applicant should be a dynamic individual with the highest levels of integrity, morals, competency and institutional commitment.Academic Qualifications: The applicant should be a distinguished academician.
Experience: The applicant should have a minimum of ten years of experience in the University system, of which at least five years should be in the post of a Professor or at least 10 years of experience in a reputed research or academic organization of which at least five years should be in the position equivalent to that of a Professor.
Procedure to send Nominations
Nominations, along with the nominee's Curriculum Vitae, including academic qualifications, research, and administrative experience, should be forwarded through email with strict confidence to career@jisgroup.org.The last date for the receipt of nominations is 31st August 2024.
