The Shore Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is said to have been constructed between 700 & 728 AD during the reign of the Pallava dynasty. The structure is so named because it stands on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. The structure constructed using granite blocks hasn’t been ravaged by either time or the elements. It stands tall, a legacy of our ancient history.
