Note : The question paper has three sections. Both question of section A and B are compulsory. From section B answers only fifteen question. Ansewrs of the question should be wrutten in not more than 100 words. From section C attempt only one Question.
Section - A
1 : Which of the complex [Co(NH3)Cl3] and [Cr(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 will give precipitate with AgNO3 and why ?
2 : Calculate effective atomic number of corresponding central metal in complexes :
3 : How redox potential data is usefull in extraction of elements ?
4 : Write down the nature of products when silver chloride is treated with barium nitrate in liquid ammonia.
5 : What lanthanide contraction ? Explain.
