Note: This paper is divided into part- 'A' and Part-'B'. Attempt all questions from Part- 'A' and three questions from Part-'B'. Use of calculator is prohibited.

Part-'A'
Note: Attempt all eight questions. Answer in not more than 100 words. Each question carries 5 marks.

1. What are the causes of distrust of statistics?
2. Write a note on stratified random sampling.
3. State the different types of bar diagrams.
4. What is probable error?
5. 25 students took-up a test, the results of those who passed the test are given below. If the average for all the students was 2.58 marks, find the average of those who failed.

9. A factory produces two types of electric lamps A and B. In an experiment relating to their life the following results were obtained:
