On 27th Jan, we went to a Murugan Temple in Aandarkuppam. Aandaarkuppam is onthe way to Ponneri from chennai wherein we can enjoy the beauty of Murugan with holy name as Balasubramanian. We can reach here from chennai towards Nellore on the Chennai-Kolkatta Highway. we have to get right turn at the Ponneri Junction -Thachchur Kootroad.
A medium size temple but have a beautiful (big)Murugan giving dharshan to devotees.
Here one more thing we have to see among many sculptures in the temple vimanam and sorrounding pillers - that a beautiful sculpture depicting Lord Murugaknocking in the head of Lord Bramha, who unable to answer the meaning of Pranav Manthra to Him. Below this one, we can Brahma in Prison.

It is a parihara sthalam, so many people come here doing headshave/earboring to children etc.,

Yes when we are reaching the Chennai by train , we can see the tall gopuram of the great Murugan Temple in Aandarkuppam at Ponneri. Tamil Nadu is known for many temples and temple towers. The big temple tower of the this famous Subramanya Temple gives us solace while watching it from the train. As said by the author the temple tower is having lots of details of Skanda Puranam and it is better to visit once while in Chennai. It is also said that Lord Murugan will be so pleased with his devotees offering prayer with faith and offer boon immediately.
