Could I get a loan of Rs. 45 lac or approximate to it for CPL? I have collateral.

Guest Author: Ahmed13 May 2017

First of all CPL loans are provided by the academy itself. They have contract with the banks for these type of loans and only they can help you out for this and not the normal bank branches. I am an Emirates pilot and had availed the loan facility from the Academy itself which had an agreement with the bank.

I want to know about education loan for Diploma in Airport Management Course.

Author: Vandana11 Aug 2019 Member Level: Platinum   Points : 5

As mentioned by Guest Author Ahmed, the academy where you opt to pursue a course, whether it is for pilot training or training to work as cabin crew or a course in airport management, will likely have tie-ups with leading banks to provide loans to cover the cost of the course fees. So I suggest that when you check out the course details, before applying for it you should get in touch with the academy/institute officials and enquire about the bank loan amount for which you are eligible.

Also, find out what all the loan covers. Many loans may cover only the course tuition fees. Some others may cover hostel fees, too, but some may not necessarily cover the cost of accommodation and other expenses, especially for any part of the training which may be done abroad. Once you know of the details, then compare it with the loan offered by the bank which you may have approached. Note, though, that it will likely be mandatory to take the loan only from the bank which the academy/institution has mentioned and not some other bank. So make inquiries whether you can take a loan independent of what they suggest.
