IIT Kharagpur M.Tech Admissions 2011

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP) invites applications for admission to various departments for M.Tech. Selection Procedure:
Selection is based on performance in GATE and Personal Interview of short-listed candidates. Marks obtained in GATE and in personal interview will have 70% and 30% weightage respectively. Personal interview will be held to test the following: (a) Motivation and aptitude for the programme (b) Oral communication skills (c) Skills in basic science, engineering, and relevant areas.

Personal interviews will be conducted at IIT Kharagpur.

Applicants with professional qualifications or with XE/XL paper in GATE and short-listed sponsored candidates need to qualify through personal interviews and/or test at IIT Kharagpur only.
