Indian Indian Independence Day Speech For School Kids

Independence day is celebrated in all schools across India and in the Indian schools abroad. School children need to prepare a good speech to address the assembly on the occasion of Indian Independence day. Here is a good Indian Independence day speech for school kids.

Respected teachers and my friends,
I wish you a happy Independence day to you all.

Today is an important day in the the history of our country India.Today is 64th Independence day of India. Now we are growing up in an independent country where our government is trying to help up with modern facilities and we have certain rights as citizens. But this would not be possible if we were not independent. Our parents and teachers say that today we are independent because our great great grandfparents had to fight for achieving independence from the British people. We have also learnt that many people had to give their lives. Many freedom fighters were kept in jain and tortured by British officers. It is because of their sacrifice we are now children of an Independent India. So for school children like us, this is a great opportunity to pay a tribute to those freedom fighters.

As a citizens of an Independent country we want a peaceful atmosphere. We dont want terror, we also don't want that some of our friends are still very very poor. We have learnt a lot about scams that are going on in our country and public money is abused in independent India. I wish that every citizen be honest with their duties so that public money is best utilized and each children in Independent India get all facilities that kids in other developed country get. Every children in India should get enough opportunity to nourish their talent and brighten the name of India in the world stage like Olympics.

Friends, I think this Independence day is a great opportunity to be united and promise that we will always try to be good citizens and do our duties honestly and regularly. This way we can contribute to the development of our country.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity for this speech.

Jaihind.
