Fellowship admission in Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT)

Central labourities of scientific Industrial research(CLSIR) established in the year 1944 in Nizam ruled Hyderabad state. Now it is Andhra Pradesh capital city Hyderabad, gradually it has been using for chemical operations regarding available elements in the nature changed as Indian Institute of Chemical Technology(IICT) in Indepndent India.
IICT offers globally competitive and environmentally viable technologies for drugs and drug intermediates organic and inorganic chemicals, agrochemicals, catalysts, polymer coatings, adhesive oils and many other technologies.

1)Natural products and chemistry 2)Agro-chemicals 3)Drugs and its intermediates 4)Speciality and fine chemicals 5)Fluro organs 6)I-organic adn physical chemistry 7)Lipid sciences and technology 8)Coal gas and energy 9)Chemical engineering and design engineering.The main object of this IICT is to contribute quality food health and energy. 450 scientists are continuosly doing their research programmes in the above branches. Besides this 60 PhD holders are coming out from IICT.

M.Sc / BE / B.Tech in related subjects with minimum 55% marks and eligiblity in net /gate exams.

Age;for junior fellowship 28 years. 5years exempted for BC,SC, ST and physically handcapped persons.


Rs.12000/-per month for first two years and Rs.20000/-as contingent per year would be paid to the students,According to the merit the student would be paid Rs.14000/-per month in the thid year.

Advanced Bio-Informatic course

1)Indian Institute of chemical Technology(IICT), 2)Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU) 3)Centre for Development of Advanced Computing(C-DOC), jointly offers the course in advanced bio-inforamtic course for 06 months duration course as 3 hours class work and 4hours lab work.

BE / B.Tech /in computer science /chemical technology /bio-technology /pharmacy / mbbs /bds / mvsc/ M.Sc computers / Bi0-Logical science / Environmental sceince / Bio-Technology / Chemistry / Agricultural science / Mathes / Physics / Statastics and good knowledge in Bio-Informatics and computer fundamental know-how with C+ language is preferable to get into admission in to advanced bio-informatic course.
Total seats 24. out of 24, 6 seats allotted to candidates who sponsored by Indstries.

Application procedure

Candidates who wish to apply should submit the application in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website given below. Duly filled signed and supported by attested copies of certificates should be forwarded in an envelope superscribed application for research fellowship to the The Director, Indian institute of Chemical Technology(IICT), Tarnaka, Uppal road, Hyderabad 500 607. Last date for submission of application 30-06-2012.

Admission Test procedure

Test will be for 100 marks. 1)Computer fundmentals for 40 marks, 2)Biology concepts for 40 marks, and 3)general aptitude for 20 marks.
Rs.40000/- course fee for general and Rs60000/-course fee for sponsored .
