Animals are living beings who deserve to be treated with care and love. There are certain animals whose race is about to vanish. This is a grave situation and such crises calls for immediate action from the authorities. This article is about explaining the categories in which animals fall, how the organizations are working towards protecting the species and why pets are no less than humans in the family.
Animals are beings just a little different from human beings. As a matter of fact, a research says one can expect a pet to be more faithful than many of our friends. Animals should never be taken for granted. They occupy a special place in the biodiversity we are living in. Animals depending on their accustomed habitats may fall into two broad categories, the pets and the wildlife. The wildlife is formed by those animals who are accustomed to living in open environment among similar or dissimilar species. The wildlife thrives in dense forests, and national parks. The wildlife is one thing which attracts people and provides national parks the opportunity to showcase to the world the wildlife it supports. The pets on the other hand live in confined environment. The people who keep pets at home are generally sensitive towards what the pet expects from them. The pets generally comprise of Dogs, Cats and Rabbits. In most cases the pets are treated with utmost care and they too seem to blend with the way humans live their lives. There have been many changes observed over the time, in the ways pets react to the language humans speak. A lot of intelligent animals particularly dogs, develop the sense to understand what humans ask them to do. It is because of their sensory perceptions and reactions that they mean a little more than mere pets to humans.
Wildlife conservation organizations
The WWF or the World wildlife fund works towards conservation, and providing for the sustainable development of various species across the globe. The organization works in the poorest of nations where people haven't got enough to spend on conservation of wildlife.
The Wildlife conservation society also works to foster wildlife. They also provide educational programmes to make people aware of the ways the species should be treated. They organization works in several continents Asia, Latin America, Africa and more. They also work towards providing for the national zoos and national parks.
The Wildlife protection society of India work in collaboration with the state governments and have their personnels who work towards reducing the hazards which threat the wildlife in everyday scenarios.
Some unconventional pets
There are some animals which generally are not considered pets, but some people have their own liking and they keep birds, squirrels, mouse, cow as their pets. Some people also keep vast species of fish and maintain them in a personal aquarium. However, there is one thing about restricting birds in cage. Birds are meant to fly in open space. If a person keeps birds in cages then he is restricting its habitat. The cow is a very useful pet but demands a lot a care and attention. It should not solely be used for selfish interests. The species people care about varies from person to person, but caring about such unconventional species portrays a very subtle insight of a human.
Pets are instruments of happiness
There is an inherent love for animals which urges the people to bring them home. Pets give unconditional love to humans and they expect the same in response. A pet is like a new family member in house. A pet not only deserves to be fed but also to be treated like humans. A pet provides security to the owner. Pets, especially dogs have very sensitive sensory organs which can detect any foreign intrusion as and when it appears. A pet can listen to your blues, it can play with the kids, it can dance to amuse you. It is but another human living around to spread the happiness, to share the sorrows and to sacrifice itself when things turn against you.
