Education has very good role to make a good citizen. But the education system to get the job may not make a good citizen. Education must be in the mode of creating the importance of it and how to implement it on to help the country and also its importance in making good citizen
Introduction
Education is not an end task, rather its motto is to equip children for their entire life, and hence it is very important to select a system of education valuable to society. In the past education was considered to be a process of filling the minds of children with mere facts. But today, we all have realized that education is not a process of implanting or imparting lifeless information to children, but a process of drawing out the innate potentialities of children. Children possess three innate potentialities through education- the power to act, the power to think and the power to feel. The task of education is to draw out these powers and to develop them by using the right material and means. And this kind of harmonious development of the three powers in real education. Aim of education
In the past teachers, educationalists and parents believed that education was merely process of filling the minds of children with facts, formulas, definition and rules. This kind of education was called the Factual system of education system. We do not educate children only for the purpose of educating them; the purpose is to fit them for life. As soon as we realize this fact, we will understand that it is very important to choose a system of education which will really prepare children for life.
Today it has become fashionable to think that in many modern countries, by providing free education for all the children whether they are rich or poor, clever or stupid one. The one who can solve all the problems of the society. And thus build perfect nations. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough to for the betterment. We find in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees that there are jobs for them to fill. Because of their degrees, they refuse to do that they think "low" work and in fact, work with the hands is thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.
But we have only to think a movement to understand that each work is noble and each has its own dignity. In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated, in such a way that first, each of us can do whatever job is suited to his brain and ability, and secondly, that we can realize that all jobs are necessary to society and that it is very bad to be ashamed of one's work, or to scorn someone else's. Only such a type of education can be called valuable to society.
Today it has been realized by all concerned that education is not a process of giving or imparting information but a process of educating or drawing out what is there in the minds of children. In other words it is realized that the task of a teacher is to draw out the innate potentialities of children: - to develop them, to direct them and to discipline them.
Children possess three innate potentialities namely conation- the power of acting with the body, cognition- the power of thinking with the mind and affectation- the power of feeling with the heart. The task of education is to educe or draw out three innate potentialities of children and to develop them, direct them and to discipline them. Role of sports and games
Sports and games are given a very important plays in education. Games and sports make pupils strong and active. Further, they give fine training in shaping character. It have a major role in education. Taking part in group games helps boys and girls to have discipline because every game has its own rules. This must be obeyed. It also teaches the need of co-operations, team work and how to respect our opponents. Educational syllabus
Hence today the educational syllabus comprises three kinds of components: -
1. The matter, which help intellect to develop and to become enlightened.
2. The matter, which can help the development of the emotions and feeling of children.
3. Sports and games which are today called co-curricular activities and which help the development of the body to be strong enough. Conclusion
Education must be a harmonious development of the physical, the intellectual, and the emotional, potentialities of children. Education should enable us to do job suitable to our brain and ability and simultaneously to learn the dignity of all labour has being necessary to society. In short it must bring an all round development of young man and women and fulfill their genuine aspirations.

Education not only teaches the intricacies of various things around us but also makes us more refined, more focused and more determined. Some one said that there is no need of so many schools and college if each learned person across India adopt at least five or ten persons to impart education for free. The govt schools are set up to provide for free education but what is the use if some students are attending the classes just for the free meal. So education should not be forced with freebies but should be taught with more importance to life.
