Most of the people always scared to answer this question in the interviews.Because they don't have the proper knowledge on how to start and where to stop, what are the things include and what are the things exclude,Is it right to include family details,hobbys...etc.

If you really want present very good description about you, follow the below format with examples.

1. Name with initial:

My name is kiranreddy munnangi.

2. Educational details: (Starting from higher).

I have completed my Msc in analytical chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University(ANU) and Bsc (M.P.C) from the same university. Intermediate & SSC from state syllabus. (If you had good percentage, ranks include it and if you had no gaps in the academic include year of completion also).

Previously i worked with xxxxxxxx as Sr.Executive. There my work profile is xxxxxxx (While explaining your responsibilitys, work profile you always target the needs of your present applying job).
(If your company is MNC or Industry best you may also describe your company briefly)

4. Professional strengths:

Here you can describe professionally how strong you are. You can explain your communication skills, team leading capabilities...etc with examples and explain briefly how you can handle the critical situations and how you can reach the deadlines..etc (If you are a fresher explain your hardworking nature & adoptability).

You have to give negative but it will not give you a negative effect. The effect of negatives will vary with the position you have. Lack of team leading capabilities(negative quality) will affect the team leader but not team member (to work as team member you dont need that skill so it will not affect much). So give the negative quality which is not required for your position.

Last but not least give your family details briefly. just names and relations is enough.
At last you may include hobby's & goals etc but not necessarily.
