MOMA has been sanctioning scholarship for minority communities since 2007 and has ever since continued to cover majority of minority students from all states of India. The number of scholarships are sanctioned on the basis of the population of each state and also depending upon the percentage of each minority community in that particular state. The procedure for applying online is by filling up the student's details 'online' on the Moma Scholarship website and then click on Merit-cum-means scholarship button. However, to make it easier here is a step by step guide for all newbies who are applying for the first time, to help fill information accurately and later to submit to respective colleges.
Last date for submission of application forms for freshers is 30th september 2012.

Eligibility for applying and key points to note before applying
Minimum 50% marks in previous year annual examination
Parents income not exceeding two lakhs fifity thousand rupees(2.5Lakhs)
Students having backlogs, scoring less than 50% in previous year exam are not eligible.
Submitting incomplete applications and also submitting after the last date, as mentioned in the official website, will not be considered.
Procedure of filling up applications online for
Procedure for Freshers applying for the first time
Go to the official website www.momascholarship.gov.in and click on Merit-cum-means scholarship.
Click on 'Student Registration' on top of the website, third tab in the row beside 'Home' and 'Login' and then click on Student Registration again below. On the following page enter your religion and annual household income, to be less than 2.5lakhs. Click on apply for scholarship.
Further questions asking the student's details will open up in the same page, enter your name, date of birth and parents name. Mobile number and Email are optional but it's important for the student to enter so as to be updated with his/her status of application. Enter Aadhaar number, if any. Click on Save. The next page will state your Temporary Id. Then click to enter further details.
Enter the temporary Id just generated in the previous page, date of birth and mother's name and click submit. Following below, enter your gender(Male/female), last exam passed, year of passing and Marks if its in numbers or grades.
In the next section fill out your detailed address, both correspondence and permanent. If both addresses are same, tick on the box 'same as correspondence address'.
Proceed with your course details, fee details and finally Bank details which is very important and must be accurate in order to receive the fund to your own account.
Go through the filled in data once again to omit any mistakes and only then click on 'Finalize and Submit'. Once you click this, you cannot change any further information you have entered. If in case there needs some correction, then you need to inform your concerned college staff as only they have the authority to edit any mistakes done while online registration.
Procedure to apply for Renewals
Click on Student registration, then 'Renewal' or 'I know my permanent Id' and enter the permanent Id, the next page will show all your complete details saved in the database of moma. The next steps are easy to follow as instructed on the page.
How to change information in the online registration?
sir I wrongly entered my 12th marks in place of last year exam passed. I have not uploaded documnts yet. Please tell me what can I do
