Placement Process:

It consists of 2 rounds:

    2. The only eligibility criteria they have mentioned to us is that we should have an aggregate of 60% and there should not be any standing arrears at the time of placement. And candidates from all UG branches can attend the process.

    3. Written Round:

    4. Totally 400 candidates were eligible for attending the written round. We were asked to make our presence in the computer lab by 9.30 A.M. The written test was for a duration of 90 minutes. It had 4 sub divisions:

Aptitude: 20 simple aptitude questions were asked and the time given for this division was 10 minutes. The questions were from Time and distance, problems on trains, number series and basic mathematics.

    5. Pre Placement Talk:

    6. Totally 90 candidates got shortlisted for the Interview round. The shortlisted students were asked to assemble in the conference hall and the officials from the company gave a presentation about the company profile and the job description.

    7. Interview:

    8. There were 2 rounds of interview namely the technical and the HR interview. Each interview round had elimination. Before entering the interview hall, we were given a form to fill. It had questions regarding personal details of the candidates and about the academic details.
When my turn came, I was asked to go to the interview room. I entered the room, gave the interviewer my resume and started to tell about myself. Basically I am from mechanical stream and I had projects that was connected to programming languages. The interviewer asked about it and I started to explain how I used my computer knowledge in the mechanical stream. My interviewer was quite impressed on hearing it. Then we were discussing about the hot topics in India and my hobbies. It took 20 minutes for my technical interview. Finally, he asked me to wait outside the room. After 10 minutes the representative informed me that I got shortlisted for the HR interview.
Next was the HR interview. Here my interviewer asked basic HR questions and this round took 40 minutes to end. The questions were mainly on the family background and the extra curricular activities. He also asked about the salary range that I expect and other details. The interview went very smooth and I was happy that I did well in the interview. And finally 25 candidates attended HR interview.
At the end of the day, the final list of 17 students who got placed came and I was one among them. I was so happy to see my name on the list and all my hard work brought me the price.
