Chartered Accountancy(CA) CPT and CA Final results of November 2012 Exam

Recent Announcement made by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI)
As per the announcements made by the ICAI on 11th Jan 2013 , the results of the Chartered Accountancy CPT & Final exams held in November 2012, will be declared on 21st of January 2013. The likely timing for the results is around 2 p.m. So if you are a student of ICAI, your countdown has already must have started. Criteria's for passing and securing merit
1. CA CPT
CA CPT student should secure at least 50% marks for passing this exam.
If you wish to know if you are a merit holder, then you should secure minimum of 60% marks and maximum of only 10 ranks will be allotted to merit-holders.
CA Final
For Passing CA Final exam, student has to secure at least 50% in aggregate and also 50% in each subject of a group/ both groups as the case may be.
For securing a merit in CA Final examinations, a student has to secure minimum 55% aggregate + 50% minimum in each subject+ only 1st 50 ranks will be allotted to the merit-holders. Mode of Delivery of results
There will be three modes of delivery of your results. If you wish to know about results follow any of the following methods:
1. Visit the website
To know your results on the date and time mentioned above, visit www.caresults.nic.in. and students will have to enter their registration No and Personal Identification No(PIN) along with the roll nos which were allowed to you for exams. Students will also be able to check if thy have secured merit or not, by clicking on check merit and provide the details asked for.
2.Results in email
If you wish to check your results by way of mail to your email address then you will have to register at the above mentioned website and they will get their results through emails in their email boxes.
3. Results through SMS
a) If you want to get CPT results through SMS, Then type CACPT(Space)and Six digit Roll no in your mobile and sent it to 58888.
b) Similarly, CA Final students can type CAFNL(space) and six digit Final examination roll number.
