How to download Aadhaar card from website?
The UIDAI has introduced an easy process of downloading the Aadhaar card from its official website.
First of all an individual have to open the official website of UIDAI for issuing Aadhaar cards through online mode http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. An individual have to submit details of the 14 letters enrollment number in the receipt copy that has been provided during enroll of Aadhaar card, time of past enrollment, name of the individual (same name that has been given at the time of enroll) and area pin code number by following the given instructions.
After the submissions of all details a temporary password will be generated and will be sent to the mobile number that has been provided during the enrollment of details for Aadhaar card in past. An important note is that if the number gets changed no password will be sent to new number.
The individual have to enter the password in the website and immediately a PDF file containing the Aadhaar card will appear on the screen.
By going through the file the individual have to take a print out of the Aadhaar card and can use the card in all services.
How to make corrections and new additions in Aadhaar card?
During the enrollment for Aadhaar card the details of some of us has been entered wrongly and even majority of us have shifted from one area to another, changing the address. The UIDAI haven't provided any opportunity of making corrections in the card but from now onwards the authority have been giving opportunity for making necessary corrections and new additions in online mode itself.
An individual has the facility of making corrections of wrongly spell name (male/female), mistakes in date of birth, change in address and change in mobile number in online mode.
Firstly the individual wishing to make corrections have to open the official website and have to click the right side appearing Update your Aadhaar data option. Upon clicking the option it asks for the Aadhaar number and after entering the Aadhaar card number immediately a password will be received to the mobile number. On entering the password, options like male/female, date of birth, address and mobile number corrections will appear. An individual have to select the option then have to click and perform the necessary corrections. For making corrections in date of birth and address the individual have to compulsorily upload the related proofs and have to enclose. An acknowledgement card will be generated after the submission of details. After 4 weeks a new Aadhaar card will be received by post from Aadhaar office. One can find the details in online mode and even can print the card.
Information through mobile phone
An individual has the facility of knowing the Aadhaar enrollment process through mobile phone.
We have to type UID STATUS and have to enter the 14 number EID available in the Aadhar enrollment receipt. An SMS has to be sent to 51969 number.
In case of ready of the Aadhaar card number then the same number will be come as reply.
In case of none-preparation of Aadhaar card, its related information will be come as reply.
