Krishna All India Entrance Test (KAIET) 2013 for admissions to MBBS/BDS/BPTh/BSc Nursing courses


Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed University, Karad has issued notification for admissions in M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.P.Th and B.Sc Nursing courses through the Krishna All India Entrance Test 2013. The Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences situated in Karad of Dist Satara in Maharashtra state is a Deemed University and got declared as the University under the section 3 of UGC act in May 2005. The KIMS Medical College allows admissions in the M.B.B.S(Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery) course.

School of Dental Science


The School of Dental Sciences allows admissions in B.D.S(Bachelor in Dental Surgery) course.

Krishna School of Physiotherapy


The Krishna School of Physiotherapy allows admissions in B.P.Th(Bachelor in Physiotherapy) course.

Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences


The Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences allows admissions in B.Sc Nursing course.

Eligibility criteria


  • The candidate has to be 17 years of age on or before 31-12-2013.

  • The candidate have to be passed the XII Standard (HSC or its equivalent) with physics, chemistry and biology with a minimum of 50% marks(for M.B.B.S and B.D.S only) and have to pass English.

  • The candidates appearing for their XII standard pr its equivalent examination in March, 2013 are also eligible for appearing the KAIET-2013 but the same candidates have to fulfill the mandatory eligibility conditions before the counseling.


  • How to obtain the application form and information brochure


    Candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure directly by visiting the University Office by submitting a DD drawn for rupees 500 or Candidates even get the application form and information brochures by post or courier mode by sending a DD drawn for rupees 600. The DDs should be drawn in favor of Krishna University Medical Sciences University, Karad payable at Karad. Candidates even can submit the application form online mode by visiting the website: http://www.kimsuniversity.in

    Submission of application forms


    Candidates can submit the filled-in application forms in person at the University Office or by sending a registered post. Online application forms can be submitted as per the given instructions in the website. The KAIET–2013 Entrance test will cost 1000 rupees fees.

    The eligible candidates for admissions will be selected through the Entrance test conducted in various cities of the nation.

  • The date of availability of application forms starts from 25th March, 2013.

  • The last date of submission of application forms is 16 th May, 2013.

  • The entrance test will be conducted on 23 rd May, 2013 Thursday from 2 p.m to 5 p.m IST
