Admission Announcement 2013 for Undergraduate courses

NUS has announced the admission to its various undergraduate programs for the academic session 2013 from Indian students of 10+2 level from state boards, ICSE and CBSE boards. The university offers various undergraduate programs in different streams. The following is a list of some of the major streams that students can opt for:-

    Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students

    NUS states that if the candidate who is applying for any of the undergraduate course is an international student, then he/she must have cleared or would clear the 12 years of general schooling i.e. must have completed 10+2 levels of education by May this year.
    The other requirements for Indian students according to their educational boards are:-
  • Indian Standard 12 (CBSE and ICSE): The student must have passed in 5 subjects including English with good marks and must be able to submit the school results before June 2013. The student whose result are available while applying is eligible for all courses. However, students whose results would come later are not eligible for dentistry/ law/ medicine/nursing.

  • Indian Standard 12 (state and other boards): The student must have passed in 5 subjects including English with good marks and must be able to submit the school results before June 2013. The students of these boards are required to submit their SAT and other subject tests scores also. The student whose results are available while applying is eligible for all courses. However, students whose results would come later are not eligible for dentistry/ law/ medicine/nursing.

  • Important dates and notes


  • Issue of application forms started on: 15th October 2012

  • Last Date of Receipt of Application Forms: 31st March 2013

  • The students must immediately fax their actual results when they are released to the NUS Office of Admissions at (65) 6778 7570, (65) 6774 4021. The fax must contain full name and application number of student on every document. Alternatively, one may upload the actual results through the uploading facility available on website.

  • The results must be submitted to the NUS Office of Administration before the last week of May 2013.

  • The student must submit a copy of their standard 12th results from internet to NUS immediately.

  • If the application of student is successful then one must keep all their travel documents and VISA ready by June 2013.


  • NUS offers various other facilities like hostel, loan facility and scholarships to international students. The details for these would be available on their website.
