The NALSAR University of law, Hyderabad was established in 1998 under the Act 34 by Andhra Pradesh State Legislature. The aim of the institute is to impart education to its students which would not only make bright, efficient and dynamic lawyers but would also make them ready for the new and challenging tasks of the coming millennium. The NALSAR university has been recognized by the UGC and is one of the premier law institutes in India.

The University campus, called Justice City, is located in the vicinity of the Shameerpet Lake about 28 kms from the city of Hyderabad. The entire campus has a lush green environment that is well maintained and helps in the sustenance of ecology. The institute offers highly modern and state-of-the art facilities. It has library, administrative and academic blocks, computer centre, M.K.Nambyar SAARC Law Centre, video conferencing facilities, N.C.Banerjee Centre for Intellectual Property Law Studies and Dr.Chaterjee Centre for Environmental Law Studies. The university also provides hostel facility for boys and girls, faculty quarters, guest house and Vice-Chancellor's residence. Eligiblility
The students wanting to take admission in Patents/ Cyber and Media Laws must have completed a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university or it is equivalent qualification according to the rules of Nalsar Proximate Education Admissions Department.
For admission to the PG Diploma in International Humanitarian Laws students must have satisfied the above mentioned eligibility criteria along with 2 years of work experience in any field.Time Duration of the Courses
The duration of the diploma courses is one academic year. The maximum period allotted for completion of all the requirements, so that the Diploma is awarded to the student, is two academic years after the completion of the regular year of enrollment. If it happens that student is unable to fulfill the requirements for the diploma in the first year, then he/she must continue the course further for 2 years by paying continuation fees. The student, however fails to complete the diploma even in these 2 extended years, then the admission would be cancelled.How to apply?
