About Noorul Islam University (NIU)
Noorul Islam University is declared as deemed university on December 8th 2008. The University has Noorul Islam College of Engineering as it's teaching unit. The University is managed by Noorul Islam Center for Higher Education (NICHE) Society. The University campus is located in Kumaracoil in Kanyakumari district of Tamilnadu. Although the college is located in Tamilnadu, Trivandrum (capital city of Kerala) is not far from it as there is only 60 KM in between them. Kanyakumari, district capital is located 30 KM away from the campus. The college offers modern facilities like Wi-Fi oriented campus, smart class rooms, over 1500 computers, an ultra modern digital library, 28 college buses, health centre etc. other than the basic facilities. The campus assures ragging free to new entrants with the introduction of an effective anti-ragging cell.
