Amit kumar, I don't think you have given enough details in your article. What is that tempts you for a job in the US? Dollar vs Indian Rupee? I know people who are finding it hard to make a base at home working in the US. It might bring happiness when you count it in Dollars, but come down home and you will find the difference. There is nothing to be glad about being employed in the States.

It is the work visa i.e. H1B visa which is difficult to get, not the job itself. Only total 65,000 H1B visa are issued every year by US for all applicants across the world. In addition to above 20,000 visa are issued to individuals who have completed their masters and higher degrees from the US universities. This year there were about five times applications than the quota fixed. Therefore the results were announced by lottery method, In such cases, only luck works. The capability of the applicants has nothing to do with the visa.
The most crucial factor is that the individuals cannot apply themselves for H1B visa. Instead the application has to be made by the employers. In case of Indian companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. they submit many applications in respect of their employees. Therefore even through lottery process, many employees get visa and therefore proceed to US for working in the offices of the respective companies.
One way is to first study in US to complete MS, MBA or Ph.D. degree. After that the candidates generally get a job during OPT period and the employers apply for their H1B visa. Such candidates get two chances in lottery, the first chance under 20,000 quota and the second chance under 65,000 quota.
