Maulana Azad National Urdu University Profile
Maulana Azad National Urdu University is one of the University which offer various courses through Urdu medium. This University is situated in Gouchibowli, Hyderabad, A.P. This University has six schools of studies and as well as 15 Departments. The main aims of this University is to provide education through Urdu medium, provide technical education and vocational training in Urdu medium, put emphasis on Women education. It offers various courses to students like Ph.D programs, M.Phil, PG courses in various subjects, Diploma Courses, Teacher's Training Programs, polytechnic and IIT education. It encourages the students by providing Scholarships and stipends to promote education. Maulana Azad University introduced a scheme called 'Earn while You Learn' to encourage poor students. This University got excellent infrastructure with all modern facilities including Hostel facility for students. 3. B.Tech (Computer Science): 4 years course (8 Semesters) Number of seats available: 60
Fee to be Paid at the time of Admission for Ph.D program is Rs.2,575 and Rs.600 Annually. For part time candidates, admission fee Rs.2,875 and Rs.900 annually.
Fee to be Paid at the time of Admission for B.Tech Program is Rs.4,575 and Rs.3,000 for each semester.
Fee to be paid at the time of Admission for MCA program is Rs.2,075 and Rs.500 for each semester.Eligibility Criteria for the courses
For Ph.D Course (Computer Science): Candidates with PG Degree in Computer Science/information Technology/Computer Applications/Technology in the relevant subject/any PG Degree closely related to Computer Science with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for this program.
For MCA (Computer Science Program): Candidates with Bachelor's Degree with 10+2+3 system as recognized by UGC with 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for this course. Study of Mathematics and Urdu or essential either at SSC level or 10+2 level.
For B.Tech (Computer Science) program: candidates must possess Intermediate (10+2) certificate or with any equivalent certificate from any recognized Board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC), Physics, Chemistry and Biology (MBiPC) or Polytechnic (CS/IT) with a minimum aggregate marks of 45%. Admission to the B.Tech, MCA and Ph.D programs is based on the merit rank got in the entrance test conducted by the University. How to Apply for the Entrance Test?
Application along with the prospectus can be obtained hand by paying Rs.100. Application can be obtained through post by taking a DD in any Nationalized Bank worth Rs.150 in favor of Maulana Azad University payable at Hyderabad. Applications along with the prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of the university www.manuu.ac.in and they have to take DD worth Rs.150 as Application fee.
