Yes, I have also researched on the subject and found that YCN is for US residents only. But as per news coming from YCN, there is every likelihood of extending it to Indian residents also with payment address in India. However Indians living abroad in United State can contribute at Yahoo Contributor Network.

The authors can still make their profile on YCN and start the learning process to be familiar with the policies, guidelines, hurdles. Lately, there is a big crowd of contributors in all the creative sites in the net and I believe YCN will also be having the same status. In such a situation the originality in writing style coupled with new ideas will only have merit as far as earning from these sites is considered.
